The Fort Smith Downtown Business Association, in partnership with Discover Fort Smith, is thrilled to announce the launch of First Saturdays, a new monthly celebration of local culture, creativity, and community, kicking off Saturday, June 7, 2025, in the heart of historic downtown Fort Smith.
Held on the first Saturday of each month, this ongoing event series will feature shopping, special sales, a scavenger hunt, museums, art, family-friendly activities, and more — all designed to spotlight the unique charm of downtown Fort Smith. As the day winds down, the energy turns up! Stick around and experience the nightlife in the Downtown Entertainment District—where patios, live music, and refreshing summer cocktails keep the good times rolling.
“We’re excited to give locals and visitors another reason to come downtown, explore what makes Fort Smith special, and support our amazing small businesses,” said Stephanie Nugent, Director of the Fort Smith Downtown Business Association. “First Saturdays is about community pride, economic vitality, and creating fun, accessible experiences for everyone.”
