The Greater Fort Smith Association of Home Builders is excited to host the annual Mason Barr Mock Scholarship Golf Tournament tomorrow, May 30, at Ben Geren Park. The tournament, presented by Arkansas Oklahoma Gas Company, will feature a 3man scramble format with a shotgun start at 11:00 AM.
This much-anticipated event raises funds for the HBA's scholarship program, supporting the children of member company employees as they begin their first year of college. This year, the Association awarded 16 scholarships to deserving high school graduates, thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and participants.
The day promises plenty of fun, food, and networking for all involved. Highlights include:
• Lunch grilled on-site by First National Bank
• “Tee Buster” hole sponsored by CMC Asset Management, letting golfers tee off from just 170 yards
• Beverages provided by Foster’s Roofing
• Course sponsorship by Firstar Bank, who will be giving away a putter to one lucky participant
• $250 Putting Contest prize sponsored by Proland Title
• Hole-in-one challenge sponsored by Harry Robinson Buick GMC, with a chance to win a car
Additionally, our many hole sponsors will be set up offering cold drinks, snacks, golf swag, and more, creating a lively and engaging experience for all attendees.
