Fort Smith, Ark. — Main Street Fort Smith will host a community mixer on Tuesday, March 31 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. inside the future home of the Main Street Fort Smith Commerce Collective: A Downtown Business Incubator, located at 409 Garrison Avenue.
The casual open-house style event will give downtown businesses, community stakeholders, and aspiring entrepreneurs the opportunity to tour the space, learn more about the incubator program, and connect with others interested in growing Fort Smith’s small business community.
The Main Street Commerce Collective is a new initiative designed to support entrepreneurs by activating vacant downtown storefronts with short-term retail pop-ups. The program provides selected participants with a temporary retail space, mentorship, and business support while helping bring new energy and foot traffic to downtown.
Applications for the incubator program are currently open and will be accepted March 4 through April 3, 2026. Entrepreneurs interested in testing a retail concept, expanding an existing business, or launching a new idea are encouraged to apply.
Community members, downtown businesses, and anyone interested in supporting small business growth are invited to attend the mixer. Guests may stop by anytime during the event to tour the space and learn more about the program.
